Improvements for Bank of America with short sales

Many of my colleges have been complaining for month on how difficult it is to work with Bank of America on short sales and in the past I would have agreed with them. However I’m writing to give you all some hope out there. It has been my experience since B of A has transitioned to using Equator (a short sale and reo website) as their portal to process all paper work and communications with regards to the short sale process, that the company is heading in the right direction. My current short sale transaction has gone from submitting the short sale to receiving a counter offer in less than 30 days. And my interaction on the phone with the customer service department has actually been enjoyable with polite people on the phone making sure all my questions were answered. So there is a little light at the end of the short sale tunnel. Here is wishing you all success for your buyers and sellers in these trying times.
